Bio quiz Friday

Quiz will focus on why cells need to divide and also cover the agar diffusion lab from Wednesday.

ES quiz tomorrow

Make sure you know the names of Earth's tectonic plates.  I will give you the blank map with letters and expect you to be able to label the plates.

Earth Science assignment

The plate boundary maps will be completed in class today and students should turn in the map page into the inbox today.  We will go through the analysis questions as a class.

Bio assignments

Have Lynn check your surface area to volume ratio data table from Tuesday.
Reading questions chapter 10 due Friday.
Turn in the agar cube diffusion lab from Wednesday today!

Semester 2 starts today

Keys for success in science
  1. Attendance- you will have difficulty passing if you have more than 10 absences for the semester.
  2. Test Corrections-a lot of the grade is based on tests 60%, if you do not do well make sure you complete test corrections within one week and be sure to follow the posted guidelines.
  3. Organization- you should keep a notebook and binder just for science and keep them in the classroom.
  4. Effort- science can be a difficult subject for some, effort goes a long way towards learning.  If you try your best, then you will succeed!
