Biology Extra Credit opportunity

In the Bio textbook you can do the chapter assessment questions for each chapter we covered in the second semester. 
Chapters 9,10,11,12,13,14,16,17,18
Each assessment completed will be worth 5 points of extra credit.
This needs to be done by Wednesday May 30th
Just do multiple choice questions.

Earth Science Final Extra Credit Opportunity

Go to http://formontana.net.
Choose one of the Earth Science Pictures of the week.  Print the article.  Annotate the article with the appropriate highlighting colors.  Turn your annotations into 2 column notes.  Turn your notes into one summary paragraph for the article.  Turn in the annotated article, notes, and summary.

You can do a maximum of three Earth Science pictures.  Each one is worth 15 points of extra credit. 

If you choose to take advantage of this opportunity, the assignment is due no later than Wednesday, May 30th.

genetic drift video assignment

Create a video simulation which models genetic drift.  Your video needs to illustrate both the bottleneck effect and the founder effect.  You need to narrate the video to explain both of the processes involved and how they result in genetic drift. 25 pts.
Your video should be similar to the one posted on my youtube channel #77.  Watch this first to get an idea what I am looking for. The most important thing here is to demonstrate understanding of the founder effect and the bottleneck effect.
